Getting Started with the ARMOR Asset Management Platform

Welcome to the ARMOR Asset Management platform! This guide provides an overview of the platform's features, how to navigate the interface, and tips for using its powerful tools to manage your assets efficiently.


1. Accessing the Web Platform

  1. Navigate to the Login Page:
    Visit armordata.com and click the Login button.
  2. Login Options:
    • Login: Enter your credentials if you already have an account.
    • Live Demo: Explore the platform via a live demonstration.
    • Sign Up: Create a new account.
    • Forgot Password: Reset your password via email.
    • Initialization Test: Used by field technicians to verify device setup.

2. The Dashboard: Asset List Overview

Once logged in, you'll land on the Asset List. This section provides a comprehensive view of your assets, including:

  • Details: Equipment site, device identifier, location, type, manufacturer, model, and 24-hour runtime/charge time.
  • Search Capabilities:
    • Quick search for assets by name or location (e.g., "Houston").
    • Advanced queries using the Query Builder (e.g., filter by device ID, site, runtime, or status).
    • Sort assets by runtime, charge time, or alert status.

3. Asset Details

Click on an asset (e.g., a floor buffer) to view detailed information:

  • Overview Tab: General details, device ID, support ticket creation, and last GPS location.
  • Utilization: Toggle between 7-day, 30-day, or lifetime data for runtime and charge time.
  • Telemetry: View battery voltage, signal strength, and daily heartbeats.
  • Alerts: Monitor events like offline status or power disconnection.
  • Extended Info: Tags, configurations, and GPS sources.
  • GPS Map: Analyze movement patterns over time with map visualizations.
  • Notes: Add and review team notes related to the asset.

4. Reporting Features

ARMOR offers robust reporting tools to analyze asset performance:

  1. Alerts Report:
    • Overview of all active alerts across your fleet.
    • Filter alerts by severity for quick insights.
  2. Daily Summary:
    • Summarizes fleet runtime, charge time, and alert details.
    • Provides manufacturer and model statistics.
  3. 7-Day Utilization Report:
    • Shows daily usage metrics (runtime, charge time, or distance).
    • Downloadable in Excel format for further analysis.
  4. Lifetime Utilization Report:
    • Aggregates runtime data over an asset’s lifetime.

Reports can be filtered and customized using quick search or advanced queries.


5. Site Management

Define and manage sites for asset tracking:

  • Create or View Sites: Assign assets, monitor site alerts, and view site maps.
  • Geofencing:
    • Define geofences using map tools to monitor asset movement.
    • Receive alerts if an asset exits a geofenced area.
    • Geofencing is restricted to admin users.

6. Additional Features

  • Favorites: Mark assets or sites as favorites for quick access.
  • Support Tools:
    • Check device status using serial numbers or IMEIs.
    • Submit support tickets or browse the Knowledge Base for additional help.
