How to Create a New Inventory (PC)

Step 1: Log into the ARMORdata Dashboard

  • Open your web browser and go to ARMORdata.com
  • Click Log In
  • Select Dashboard
  • Enter your username and password
  • Once logged in, you will be on the ARMORdata dashboard
  • If you have trouble logging in, use the Forgot Password option or contact your system administrator

Step 2: Navigate to Inventory Management

  • On the left panel click the gear icon labeled Administration
  • Under the Operations section, click Inventory Management

Step 3: Create a New Inventory

  • Click the + Create Inventory button
  • Enter the required details:
    • Inventory Name: Choose a clear, descriptive name
    • Description: Describe the purpose and scope
    • Site Location: Search by site name or address
    • Due Date (Optional): Set a target completion date
  • Click Create & Continue

Step 4: Manage Users & Send Invites

  • In Add Existing Users, click the plus button next to names to add users
  • In Other Users, enter email addresses (comma-separated or one per line)
  • Scroll to Invitation Configuration
  • Customize the email message sent to participants
  • Set invitation expiration timing and photo requirements if needed
  • Click Activate & Send Invites or save as a draft to complete later
