Introduction

A4 Standard 5-Wire Harness

The standard ARMOR 4 wire harness consists of five wires with the following color coding:

  • Red: Positive wire with a fuse
  • Black: Negative wire
  • Orange & White: These are connected to independent motor, positive wires.
  • Brown: This wire is and Output wire and is typically not in use. *

A4 OEM 5-Wire Harness

The OEM 5-wire harness for the ARMOR 4 unit features a different color scheme:

  • Orange: Positive wire with a fuse
  • Green: Negative wire
  • Yellow & Red: These are connected to independent motor, positive wires.
  • Brown: This wire is and Output wire and is typically not in use. *

*The brown (output) wire can be used to send a voltage signal to trigger actions like turning on a light or alarm, especially if you need to locate your machine. However, if this function is not required, it should be safely secured out of the way.
